I've never seen Nic shy away from learning a new skill or tackling a new problem if it meant bringing value to himself or the company. However, being able to code, design, animate or strategize aren't what I believe makes Nic an asset. His true worth lies in not just his ability, but his desire, to understand people and help them. He is always ready to listen and to tell you what you needed to hear, rather than what you wanted to hear. Nic is unusually good at stepping away from situation, setting aside his personal biases, and viewing as issue from an outside perspective. He can then bring that perspective to people who might not otherwise be able to gain it. It's this rare skill that makes me certain Nic will thrive in leadership and mentoring positions.
